Black Jack
First ever resident that Em was aware of. An underground surgeon who mostly keeps to himself but finds himself looking over Em like a daughter. Keeps most of the place intact. Mostly serious but lets his softer side show whenever needed. Ironically kind of shit when it comes to household chores since he'd been used to Pinoco doing it for him or paying someone to take care of it, but he tries. Acts kind of as Em's anchor, though he came in later in er life compared to people like Hyo, but unlike them he stuck around during Em's lowest lows. Has been around in the mind department for around 13-14 years but has stuck around the longest. Has been successfully hiding from the shady organizations that have been after him, though time will tell how long he can stick around before they find him again and force him to leave. Em is terrified at the prospect of not having him in er life--he's acted as a comforting, reassuring presence for so much of it, someone e can always turn to no matter what.
Joseph Joestar
Second resident that Em was aware of. Feisty playboy adventurer who keeps the place from being too serious. Treats Em like a little sister. Tries to cheer Em and the others up whenever they seem down. Gets along fairly well with Black Jack despite the clash in personalities. One of the newest additions in the mind department, having come in two years ago. Recently started a company with his 'uncle' Speedwagon, who's training him to learn the ropes of being a business tycoon to ensure his future.
Kaiji Itou
A resident who once dropped in but left feeling like he couldn't be a burden on the others. Kaiji is a mild-mannered man who just wants to make something out of himself. Constantly ends up putting himself in worse situations because of his intense desire to help others. Gets along surprisingly well with Black Jack who he first met when he needed re-attachment surgery for his fingers. Black Jack constantly patches him up. Relates to Em in that desire to constantly give to others (to their own detriment). Constantly on the run from shady parties he tangles with when trying to save other people. Shares gambling tricks with Joseph. A bit terrified of Hyo. Moved in roughly 3-5 years ago before moving out quietly without telling anyone, just leaving a note explaining why he had to. Recently moved back in on Em and Joseph's insistence.

Hyo Imawano
The first serious love of Em's life. (To Em's embarassment.) Student council president with a complicated past and family background. Incredibly serious--maybe even more than Black Jack. Constantly judges Joseph for his childish antics. Just wants to do what's right for everyone, sometimes to his detriment. His sense of right and wrong constantly leads him to make serious judgments on people and hold grudges. Em isn't really sure how Hyo sees er! (Though Em admits it would be nice if he liked er back.) Em is honestly terrified of him as well because of how cold and stand-offish he can be, but his softer and warmer side is what attracted Em to him. Hyo only remembers her as a student at school who admired him. Also the youngest in terms of body age in the group at 16 years old, though he has technically been around the longest (close to two decades in the mind department). Somewhat strained relationship with Black Jack, whom Hyo does perceive as having taken over his place, Black Jack being perceived as the more superior morally of the two. Black Jack tolerates him because of his youth, knowing that youth can make one naive despite good intentions. Can cook a decent breakfast. Trains in sword-fighting every day. Kaiji avoids him because of his purported mind control powers. (Hyo hasn't seen a need to ever use it around here, though. And even then, he'd rather keep that part of himself in the past.)
Teisel Bonne
Also sees Em like a daughter or little sister, much like Black Jack, though acts a bit more outwardly protective. Still trying to make a name for himself in the sky pirate business. Constantly tries to tinker aroud and come up with new hare-brained schemes. Likes to cook and bake for fun and to get his mind off of things. Has been around the mind department around as long as Hyo has. Worries about making a decent living to keep his siblings Tron and Bon afloat. Resourceful; tends to re-use things or try to recycle or upcycle them, hates to waste things.
